Rebecca Valentine-Hagart

Rebecca has been involved with Speech and Drama from a very early age. She trained at Webber Douglas Academy of Performing Arts, now part of Central School of Speech and Drama. She has worked in Theatre in Education and in several fringe productions. Also for Walt Disney playing Snow White on a UK wide tour appearing on the television show ‘TisWas’ with Chris Tarrant and Lenny Henry. She also has a keen interest in mask and clown work and has worked with Vivian Gladwell the founder of ‘Nose to Nose’ following the teachings of Jacque le Coq and Balaclown. She is familiar with the festival scene having performed herself from an early age and in subsequent years, has been delighted to encourage her own students to participate.

For the past 25years she has taught Speech and Drama at Nottingham Girl’s High School whilst also teaching privately at home.

Rebecca has devoted her career to sharing her experience through the many disciplines she teaches. She has been a committed teacher of the Trinity and Guildhall syllabus from her earliest professional years and is always excited at the prospect of meeting and helping today’s young performers.
